Overall design process impact on this application
Enabled producers to easily find seeds to increase biodiversity
Uplevel design language and components. High adoption for eng team to reduce QA back and forth

Facilitated cross-functional design exercises to inform design decisions
Bridged clarity between product and engineering through user flows and visual aids
Case study: Grassland Quality Analyzer
Before starting design, I put together a one pager of this feature, which include scope, problem, users, and desired outcome. This information was collected through collaboration between Chief Project Officer and clients. This was a new practice for CBI that would align the Chief Project Office and Engineering team.
Uncovering scope and problems
Conversations with geospatial team and clients:
Currently, there are no quick ways to assess CRP contracted lands (primarily grassland CRPs), or potential CRP ag lands for the quality of the vegetation cover.
Currently, there is no way to comparatively evaluate the quality of vegetation cover between CRP-contracted lands and adjacent areas of interest
Currently, there is no way of aggregating assessments of grassland quality on a scale of a county, state, country wide
Bigger picture thinking
Before design, I collaborated with Chief Project Officer and clients to align on expectations of this feature.
Assess CRP contracted lands (primarily grassland CRPs), or potential CRP ag lands for the quality of the vegetation cover.
Comparatively evaluate the quality of vegetation cover between CRP-contracted lands and adjacent areas of interest, and practice types
Aggregating assessments of grassland quality on a scale of a county, state, country wide
User flows
I presented user flows to align the team on requirements and expected behavior of this feature - outline MVP vs long term goals.

Design components
I used higher fidelity designs to get feedback as seen below. I borrowed the collapsible step by step pattern that I've designed and implemented in the past, since this would already be familiar for the user.
